The Lilly Greensboro 2010 Conference on Teaching and Learning in February (4-7) featured 146 sessions; 25 of these were poster sessions. On-site peer evaluation of these posters placed 3 of these posters as exemplary. Students and faculty from Elon University walk us through Immersion Africa: Student Innovations and Approaches to Complex Global Problems sharing their insights regarding complex social, political and economic problems and their action-oriented responses, sustainable projects and awareness-building initiatives. Annette Greer and Susan Martin Meggs of East Carolina University describe an interdisciplinary engaged service learning experience in Converging Art & Health: An Evidence-Based Approach to Innovation in Learning. Jennie De Gagne, North Carolina Central University and Suk-Sun Kim, Duke University share the insights and recommendations that emerge from their study of online education in the US.
