Can anyone teach “simplification” simply?
We’ll identify Instructional Bottlenecks for many students in beginning algebra courses.
We’ll find Low-Threshold ways of helping students online through some of those bottlenecks. Ways that surprisingly demonstrate how you really can solve some teaching/learning challenges online.
We’ll discuss what happens when “Simplification” Meets the Distributive Property.
And, of course, we’ll ask and answer:
“What can be done when Eschewing Ambiguity Becomes Proliferating Obfuscation?”
