Time: 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET
Presenters: Steve Gilbert, Sally Gilbert, Beth Dailey and others

Description

This Member's Exchange event is an informal opportunity to talk together about the December 4th FridayLive! event. Below is the FridayLive! event description. Please Join Us!

Can anyone teach “simplification” simply?
We’ll identify Instructional Bottlenecks for many students in beginning algebra courses.
We’ll find Low-Threshold ways of helping students online through some of those bottlenecks. Ways that surprisingly demonstrate how you really can solve some teaching/learning challenges online.

We’ll discuss what happens when “Simplification” Meets the Distributive Property.
And, of course, we’ll ask and answer:
“What can be done when Eschewing Ambiguity Becomes Proliferating Obfuscation?”

NOTE:  Login instructions for the session will be sent in the Registration Confirmation Email. Please check your Junk folder as sometimes these emails get trapped there. We will also send an additional login reminder 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
