Social Media/Networking Tools/Resources from TLT Group Plus Designated Learner Experimentation
This session is free for TLT Group Members Fee for others

January 23, 2013 2:00pm EDT
Leaders: Steve Gilbert, Beth Dailey, Irene Knokh and others

Higher education faculty and other academic professionals will be introduced to social media/networking tools/resources. 3 - 6 tools/resources will be demonstrated. No previous experience is needed.

In this session one of our members, Irene Knokh, will teach us how to use JING in a PC environment using our newly evolving “Designated Learner” instructional strategy.  This link will take you to the lessons we learned from our last session.  We are looking for someone to assume the designated learner role for this session.  Here are the qualifications:
  • little to no experience with JING,
  • headset and microphone
  • willingness to learn in front of others and ask questions

Pre-session information and activities will be sent 2 days prior to the event. We keep learning about new tools and resources from our members.  In this session members will be introducing the tools and resources they are currently using.

This session is free to TLT Group Individual Members.
$75 to others

All of the TLT Group’s online offerings include use of “low threshold” tools, examination of controversial issues, options for participants with a range of experience, and suggestions for assessment as you integrate what you’ve learned into your repertoire.
